STEPS:

1. Get the x and y of the angle
2. After that add all x components and add all y components.But be careful in determining whether the x or y components are negative or positive.
3. The formula for resultant vector is squaroot the sum of all x components and y components.
4 In getting the angle the formula is theta=Tangent-1(Ry/Rx)
5. And when you want to get the direction just look where the angle is pointing for example 2.63 the direction is north of east. It is north of east because it is on the top of the line that is pointing to east.
